Taking the Plunge

Marina di Praia Beach Praiano Amalfi Coast Travel

That’s me. Hand flung in the air, skin anticipating the rush of cool, salty water. That moment before the splash is really the best–worth it all–where anticipation hovers mere seconds before satisfaction. That’s me. Figuratively speaking, of course, as I’m not really one to fling myself off of anything into large bodies of water. But here I sit ready to take the plunge back into blogging and developing Ciao Amalfi into the website that I have envisioned. Many different streams of interest and thought have been coming together in my mind. Although time is limited, my passion for writing about the Amalfi Coast can no longer be on hold. Things have started to move. And how could they not? When the water is oh so tempting …

But The Travelers by @brunocesarcatalano in Amalfi has been extended to November 5, 2023. I wasn’t ready for them to travel on yet!
This morning I said my goodbyes to Bruno Catalano’s “Travelers” on my morning walk. Tomorrow I’m off to be a traveler myself and they’ll likely be gone by the time I’m back. They’ve been good company, but it’s time for them to move on to their next destination. 🧳
