Last weekend I was walking in Ravello and passed through a walkway that leads in one place between and under part of the beautiful gardens of the Villa Rufolo. I could smell the sweet scent of wisteria as I climbed a steep staircase, and as I reached the top was welcomed by this beautiful trellis of blooming wisteria. It wasn’t quite at peak, but it was close enough to fill the surrounding area with sweetness. It was an ideal spot to stop and catch my breath after the long climb!

Thanks, Sharon! From Naples you could take the Autostrada to the Angri exit and then follow the signs to the Chiunzi Pass and the Amalfi Coast. The pass will take you up over the mountains and there are signs to Ravello. It’s a pretty easy drive compared to your last adventures to Positano! 🙂

Thanks, Linda! I fell in love with wisteria in Washington, DC, and was so happy to see it grows everywhere here in the spring. It blooms pretty much before everything else here, so it always makes it feel like spring has arrived!
