Stormy Weather

The strange weather continues here on the Amalfi Coast. Yesterday it hailed! It was unusual to look out the window and see the garden almost white when it ended. It rained and hailed, and we would have quite the pile of snow if it were just a little bit colder. Today the weather was cool, clear and much drier than it has been the past few weeks. I could see just a touch of snow at the top of the mountains south of Salerno. While I don’t miss snow (after four years in Minnesota), I have to admit I would like to experience snow here. It happens so rarely that it would be a fun experience.

Thank you for stopping to say hello on my blog, otherwise I would never have found you.
This is a good way to keep up with the coast when I’m not there!

I’ll let Annika know you are around as she is enamoured with Amalfi.

Ciao Scintilla! Thank you as well for stopping to say hello. Who is Annika? I certainly understand being enamoured with Amalfi! Does she have a blog as well? I see you have a great list of links on your blog, but I haven’t made it through them all yet. Thanks!

But The Travelers by @brunocesarcatalano in Amalfi has been extended to November 5, 2023. I wasn’t ready for them to travel on yet!
This morning I said my goodbyes to Bruno Catalano’s “Travelers” on my morning walk. Tomorrow I’m off to be a traveler myself and they’ll likely be gone by the time I’m back. They’ve been good company, but it’s time for them to move on to their next destination. 🧳
