Today is All Souls Day in Italy, a day traditionally spent with family and visiting the cemetery to leave flowers and prayers for your family and friends. As a dear friend of mine recently said, “We are who came before us.” Wise words in their simplicity. My thoughts today are with my family and friends who have lost loved ones dear to their hearts. That quote is very special to me as it is written on my father’s tombstone. It has really helped me to deal with the passing of those special people in my life. They live through the stories and warm memories we share. 🙂
