An Autumn Walk in Ravello

Autumn is a glorious time of year to visit the Amalfi Coast. One of my favorite spots to walk during any season is the town of Ravello located high in the mountains overlooking the coastline. If you enjoyed the Autumn Walk in Scala, you’re going to love coming along on a beautiful autumn walk through Ravello. Happy autumn wishes to all of you from the Amalfi Coast!

A simply gorgeous virtual stroll, we have never been up in Ravello so late in the year, so have not seen these beautiful colours for ourselves.

So happy you enjoyed the autumn walk in Ravello, Linda! It gets even more beautiful up in the mountains around Tramonti this time of year. More photos coming soon!

LindyLou sent me over as she knows we’ll be staying in Montepertuso next spring.
Your photographs are amazing and I’ll be back often to watch the seasons change until I can be there myself.

Ciao Maggie! Thanks for your comment and for coming over from Linda’s great blog. I do apologize that I haven’t kept up with responding to comments very well while I was traveling in America. I’m so happy to hear you are planning a trip to the Amalfi Coast next spring! And you’ve picked a beautiful spot up in the mountains above Positano. I hope you’ll enjoy reading … and happy travel planning! 🙂

Wow, this is stupendous. I never thought that a trip to that part of Italy in fall could be so enticing, but I may have to schedule a fall trip next time. What a beautiful part of the world you live in.

Ciao Linda! Autumn is a really gorgeous time of the year on the Amalfi Coast – especially October. Often the colors are over by mid November, but this year the colors are lasting so long. It’s lovely!

This morning I said my goodbyes to Bruno Catalano’s “Travelers” on my morning walk. Tomorrow I’m off to be a traveler myself and they’ll likely be gone by the time I’m back. They’ve been good company, but it’s time for them to move on to their next destination. 🧳

I’m back! After some time in the USA with family I’m back! After some time in the USA with family, I’m back home in Amalfi and adjusting to the time with my usual early morning walks. What’s not usual is that there are so many people out and about now compared to when I left in July. At 7:30am this morning there were already people set up at the beach to get those first sun rays that you can see just hitting the beach. Very clever! The water is so clear and pretty in the morning. I enjoy watching the changes that come throughout the season. This morning there were two guys tossing a football on the beach. That was unexpected! 🏈
